Extremely well researched book by Josh Ruebner lays bare the double standards of the Obama admin/US foreign policy when it comes to its professed commitment to human rights on the one hand and its military, diplomatic, and financial underwriting of Israel's systematic human rights abuses against Palestinians on the other. The book's comprehensive use of recent human rights literature on the conflict is exceptional and the chapter "We don't do Gandhi very well" is particularly effective in demonstrating the hollowness of Obama's words when it comes to his administration opposing anything Palestinians are doing on the ground to confront Israel's brutal policies. This book should be required reading for anyone interested in learning about the Middle East conflict and the role of the US in frustrating almost any hope in resolving it.
