Still processing a lot of it, but I’d say my overall takeaway is that while all of us are called to be disciples (joyful followers) we also ALL have the ability and responsibility, really, to be leaders. While effective leadership is often judged on measurable actions and results, The Leadership Code highlights the non-tangibles - qualities every single human is capable of - selflessness, trust, transparency, honesty, integrity, sacrifice, teamwork, relationship, heart, presence, Philotimo! When those human qualities are put into practice, we are at our greatest leading potential. No matter the age. No matter the position. This is such an empowering message. The Leadership Code showed me that, in the end, the true definition of leadership is Humanity. With a quiet confidence, helping one another and truly wishing the good of another along in this beautiful journey of life. Leading by example and always leaving others better off than they were before.
